With a career spanning over three decades, he has established him as an expert in reputation management, change management communications, and crisis management.

BROOKLYN, NY, April 05, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stig Albinus has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Albinus is a distinguished figure in strategic health care consulting, with a career spanning over three decades that has established him as an expert in reputation management, change management communications, and crisis management. Serving as the principal owner of Albinus Consulting since 2020, he provides invaluable strategic advice to a wide array of health care organizations. His expertise is sought after globally, reflecting his deep understanding of public relations and health care industry dynamics.

Prior to founding his consultancy, Mr. Albinus held several prominent positions within leading public relations agencies. From 2011 to 2020, he was the senior director of global health care practice at APCO Worldwide, where he played a pivotal role in shaping health care communication strategies on an international scale. Before this appointment, he served as a partner and the director of integrated client solutions at Porter Novelli from 2007 to 2011. His tenure at Burson-Marsteller was particularly notable, serving as the managing director of U.S. health care practice from 1998 to 2007, the chairman of U.S. health care practice from 1996 to 1998, and the chairman of European health care practice from 1994 to 1996. He began his journey with Burson-Marsteller as head of Danish health care practice from 1991 to 1994. Each role marked a significant milestone in his career, showcasing his ability to lead and innovate within the industry.

Mr. Albinus' career is highlighted by his pioneering work with the Danish Medical Association, where he served as the first head of public affairs from 1986 to 1991. His initiatives there were groundbreaking, promoting patient choice and competition in Denmark's medical sector. Additionally, his achievements at Burson-Marsteller in Denmark included spearheading the "Year of the Brain" campaign, which significantly advanced public awareness and research into brain diseases.

The foundation for Mr. Albinus' career was laid at Aarhus University in Denmark, where he earned his master's degree in Nordic literature, language and mass communications in 1976. Mr. Albinus attributes much of his success to fortuitous events and influential mentors throughout his life. His early career as a newspaper reporter covering housing, urban development and politics provided him with a strong foundation for his subsequent roles. His political reporting experience led him to the Danish Medical Association, where he gained insights that shaped his future endeavors.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Albinus has made significant contributions outside of work. Since 2014, he has served as a strategic communications advisor for the Berkeley Carroll School in Brooklyn, New York. As an author, Mr. Albinus has contributed to the discourse on artificial intelligence in health care with his 2019 article, "Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare: Hype or Hope?"

Away from the demands of his profession, Mr. Albinus enjoys enriching personal interests such as reading biographies, exploring history, watching films such as Japanese movies, and spending time with his four children. He is currently penning "The Pathfinder Without a Compass." This book is a reflection on his life's journey akin to navigating without a compass — a metaphor stemming from his name Stig, a Nordic word that means "pathfinder." In the coming years, Mr. Albinus looks forward to continuing his consultancy work while savoring life's experiences with renewed vigor and insight.
