Mr. Hogue enjoyed a successful tenure at MetLife from 2014 to 2021 as an assistant vice president and head of global executive recruitment. This role was marked by establishing an international executive recruiting function and promoting global fluency across multiple continents. Prior to joining MetLife, Mr. Hogue served as a talent acquisition management consultant at Teach For America between 2013 and 2014, where he was instrumental in building the technology organization and talent. From 2010 to 2012, he was the director of talent acquisition at TIAA-CREF, transforming the organization from a transactional entity into a talent advisory powerhouse. Mr. Hogue's strategic vision was also evident as a manager and head of global recruiting at Western Asset Management between 2003 and 2009, where he contributed significantly to the firm's growth in assets under management. Since 2022, Mr. Hogue has provided his expertise to other organizations in a consulting capacity, including a next generation digital asset fin/tech bank, New York Life Asset Management, and the State of Wisconsin Investment Board. Based in New York City, Mr. Hogue has a wealth of experience.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Hogue was the director of recruiting at CIBC World Markets from 2000 to 2002, where he crafted a transformational plan for the recruitment unit. His foundational roles in human resources and organizational development were honed at A.T. Kearney between 1997 and 1999 and at McKinsey & Company from 1988 to 1997.
Apart from his primary career endeavors, Mr. Hogue has also had an innate passion for music and is a classically trained pianist; he also taught himself to play over a dozen musical instruments. Mr. Hogue's artistic talents were showcased when he was a cast member and featured performer and dancer with "Up With People" during its world tour in the mid-1980s, which included performances with Bob Hope, a command performance with the King and Queen of Sweden, and other television appearances.
In his free time, Mr. Hogue remains engaged with The Kabbalah Centre. As he looks forward to new challenges and roles that match his career aspirations, he continues to embody the spirit of lifelong learning and excellence that has defined his remarkable journey thus far.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Hogue received a Bachelor of Arts in communication arts from Rollins College and a master's degree from the New York Institute of Technology. His pursuit of knowledge continued as noted above with the certification in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2023.
In light of his success, Mr. Hogue received numerous awards for his work in human resources. He also received a music scholarship from the University of Arkansas.
