Her expertise lies in helping teachers and other educators transition from classroom to corporate in as little as three to six months. Adjacent to her current role, Lindsey also serves as a Career Coach and Resume Writer via Upwork and has been contracted with Randstad RiseSmart for the past four years, a global leader in career outplacement services. Prior to beginning her freelancing career, Lindsey worked as an English as a Second Language Teacher (ESL) for VIPKid. Prior to this, she served as a School Counselor for the Box Elder School District (2013 to 2018) and honed her skills as an Employment Counselor and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of Utah from 2009 to 2013.
Mrs. Mattinson's impressive accomplishments include her recent nomination as The Top 10 Female Leaders of 2024 by WomELLE Corp., including a nomination by She's Possible for the Female Voice Awards (2024). Finally, Lindsey has been recognized as one of LinkedIn's Top 10 Experts in Salt Lake City by Influence Digest Media (2023), which is a testament to her expertise and dedication. The foundation of Mrs. Mattinson's success can be traced back to her academic achievements, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Science in Psychology and Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Utah State University. Lindsey possesses former certifications as an Elementary and Secondary School Counselor and Professional Educator issued by the Utah State Board of Education as well as Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the International Open Academy. She is currently working on obtaining her credentials as a Certified Professional Resume Writer by the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches. These qualifications have been pivotal in her ability to guide others through their career pivots and journeys.
Lindsey's extracurricular involvement extends beyond her professional endeavors, where she serves as a Scholarship Coordinator for First Choice Resumes, Inc. as well as a Youth Counselor/Volunteer for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (2014 – 2024). Beyond her career achievements and community involvement, Mrs. Mattinson cherishes time spent with her family. Together with her spouse and their three children, she enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, boating, and gardening. With aspirations to further expand her business, she envisions hiring a manager who can take on some of her day-to-day responsibilities, allowing her more time to focus on strategic growth and personal endeavors.
