Mr. Pomeroy has established himself as a distinguished professional in aviation management. Currently serving as the Director of Aviation Planning and Regulatory Compliance at Portsmouth International Airport at Pease since 2022, he oversees critical aspects of aviation planning, airport certification and compliance, grant funding, project management, airport management, air service development, and general aviation development. His role encompasses various programs, including Airport Safety Management Systems and Title VI Civil Rights programs. In addition, Mr. Pomeroy was appointed as the airport manager for Rochester Skyhaven Airport in 2021.

Before ascending to his current roles, Mr. Pomeroy was the manager of aviation planning and regulatory compliance at the Pease Development Authority from 2020 to 2022. He also had a long tenure with the Pease Development Authority as airport operations manager from 1995 to 2020, where he oversaw all aspects of airfield operations at the Portsmouth International Airport and the Rochester Skyhaven Airport. Additionally, he has experience managing Limington Harmon Airport as an owner and airport manager from 2004 to 2007 and as an assistant airport manager at Littlebrook Airpark from 1991 to 1993. His career is marked by progressive leadership roles reflecting his deep commitment to the aviation industry.

Mr. Pomeroy's expertise spans commercial, military, and general aviation flight procedures with a commercial pilot certification, proficiency in federal aviation regulations, airport design and photography — including aerial and aviation photography. His achievements include leading the design reconstruction and development of airport infrastructure worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Notably, Andrew organized and led a team of professionals who completed the reconstruction of a two-mile-long runway during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020; his third runway reconstruction, coming in ahead of schedule and under budget. During his tenure, Andrew played a pivotal role in redesigning and converting the former Pease Strategic Air Command Base into a successful commercial service airport and business park. Furthermore, Mr. Pomeroy has organized several major airshows featuring renowned demonstration teams such as the United States Air Force Thunderbirds, the United States Navy Blue Angels, and the Brazilian Air Force "Smoke Squadron."

In recognition of his professional excellence, Mr. Pomeroy holds memberships with several industry-related organizations. He is the president of the Granite State Airport Management Association and serves on the New Hampshire Governor's Aviation User Advisory Board. A certified member of the American Association of Airport Executives, he is affiliated with groups such as the International Society of Aviation Photographers, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the New Hampshire Pilots Association, the Red Star Pilots Association, the 500th Bomb Squadron Association, and Commemorative Air Force.

Mr. Pomeroy's solid educational foundation builds upon his professional achievements, including a bachelor's degree in aviation management and an associate degree in flight operations from Daniel Webster College. He holds certifications as a multi-engine and single-engine commercial instrument-rated pilot and private pilot single-engine sea from the Federal Aviation Administration and as a certified firearms instructor. His passion for aviation has been the driving force behind his success since childhood.

Born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Mr. Pomeroy deeply engages in activities beyond his professional commitments. He finds joy in carpentry, farming, outdoor sports and indulges his love for aviation through his flying and aerial photography. Additionally, he is an avid writer with interests in aviation history and physics. Looking ahead, Mr. Pomeroy is determined to further his contributions to the aviation industry while also focusing on expanding and documenting his flying experiences. A passionate aviator with time logged in more than 50 multi- and single-engine land and sea aircraft types ranging from Piper Cubs to World War II Bombers. He has flown seaplanes in Alaska and a Grumman Goose and a B-25J along the New England coastline. He aims to achieve continued success with his consulting and photography ventures alongside completing several writing projects he has undertaken.
