He has mentored a new generation of business-focused technology leaders and led a dynamic team of AI scientists throughout his distinguished tenure at the company.
Dr. Bousetouane's career began as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2015, after he co-founded a robotics and intelligent computing startup in 2014. His early professional experience also includes an internship at Institute EGID, funded by CNES (Centre National d'Études Spatiales), France, in 2010. Throughout his career, he has established himself as a distinguished expert in artificial intelligence and autonomous systems.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Dr. Bousetouane was appointed as an advisory member of the Supreme Council of Artificial Intelligence in Algeria in 2023, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping national governance models for AI.
Building upon his professional achievements is Dr. Bousetouane's robust academic foundation. Originally from Algeria, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2008, followed by a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence in 2010 at Université Badji Mokhtar de Annaba. Subsequently, he achieved dual PhDs in Artificial Intelligence from the same institution in Algeria and an accredited PhD from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Dr. Bousetouane then received a postdoctoral degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2016.
Dr. Bousetouane attributes his success to his insatiable curiosity about brain functions and his passion for applying AI to the enhancement of human life across various domains. His perseverance and resilience have been instrumental throughout his career journey, which began with significant research contributions at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas' Real-Time Intelligent Systems laboratory.
