GULFPORT, MS, April 23, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cynthia Susan Joachim, Esq., JD, MBA, ABR, ABRM, CIPS, CRB, CRS, GRI, e-PRO, MRP, RSPS, SRS, TRC, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Joachim hails from a family with a rich history in the real estate sector. Dating as far back as the 1800's, both her German and Swiss-German ancestors, on both sides of her family, made their mark in the budding industry; her fraternal great-great uncle co-founded Joachim Brothers, a real estate company in Louisiana, in 1873, and her maternal great-great-grandfather was commissioned by the president of Switzerland to pursue promising territories in the New World. As a product of this lineage, Ms. Joachim grew up as the daughter of an extraordinary real estate professional.

Along with assuming pivotal leadership roles at various levels, including at the state and local levels, Ms. Joachim's father held the position of president within the Association of Real Estate License Law Officials, a governing body that plays a crucial role in the regulation of the Real Estate Commission. There, he served as a member for nearly two decades, contributing significantly to the governance and advancement of the industry as a whole. Prior to following in the footsteps of her father and family's legacy and establishing herself in the real estate business, Ms. Joachim earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mississippi and a Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law, which she dreamed of achieving since she was a young child.

After earning her law degree and licenses to practice in Mississippi as a prosecutor in the juvenile court system and serving in the Florida Public Service Commission Legal Department, Ms. Joachim worked nearly five years in practice. The next step in life was living almost a decade abroad with her ex-husband of over 25 years. Upon returning home she decided to switch her career focus and join her father's real estate business. While working in the field, she discovered a passion for working with individuals and fell in love with the profession.

In 1977, Ms. Joachim obtained her real estate license and, in 1986, became the owner and principal broker of Century 21 Harry J. Joachim, REALTOR, a position she held for nearly 25 years. While building her own real estate reputation and credentials, she pursued a Master of Business Administration from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, which she earned in 1990. In 2010, Ms. Joachim joined Coldwell Banker Alfonso Realty Inc., where she continues to apply her real estate expertise.

Emulating her father's legacy, Ms. Joachim went on to assume senior roles in both the local and state real estate boards. Additionally, she took on the responsibilities as a national officer with the National Association of Realtors, showcasing her commitment to the sector on a broader scale. Moreover, she expanded her impact regionally by serving as the regional vice president for the Fifth District, the largest REALTOR's organization in the region, which encompasses Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.

Ms. Joachim is a decorated broker, holding numerous accreditations and field-specific certifications, including that of a military relocation professional, among others, via the National Association of REALTORS. In addition to her countless credentials, she is a four-time winner of the Mississippi Association of Realtors Real Estate Instructor of the Year Award. Parallel to her professional pursuits, she has dedicated significant volunteer efforts to her local real estate community, most notably through her involvement with the Mississippi Association of Realtors, where she is a member, and her dedication to the local boards. She has a love of the Coastal Mardi Gras and has been a member of the oldest female carnival krewe, Les Masquees for 41 years. In recognizing the significance of real estate education, Ms. Joachim has taken a proactive step to share her knowledge. Recently, she applied for a program sponsored by the National Association of Realtors, which enables its members to impart real estate knowledge to future homeowners by teaching classes to high school students to facilitate their understanding of the path to and impact of homeownership. With her wealth of experience and dedication to the profession, she has been accepted into the program and aims to contribute to the education and empowerment of future homeowners.
