KALAMA, WA, April 25, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Richard Byfield has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Drawing on years of professional experience in architecture and management, Mr. Byfield excels as an architecture business and management consultant for the eponymous Richard E. Byfield, MBA, through which he aids firms with all aspects of their business and operations, such as strategic planning, financial analysis, recruitment, and performance procurement training.

Prior to obtaining his current role, he worked as an independent assessment report aid, project specialist, and CRC specialist for Seek Enterprises, served as a manager at Stanford Health Care, and as a consultant for Business Elegance. During the early stages of his career, he gained valuable professional expertise through various management and administration positions with Assiniboine Community College, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, URS Corporation, the California Construction Authority, Voinovich California, Inc., HMC Architects, and the California Office of the State Architect. Due to his vast breadth of knowledge, Mr. Byfield has also obtained patents for systems and methods for providing an Accessorizable Frame System called "Simple-Click" picture frame neat displays.

Before starting his professional journey, Mr. Byfield earned a bachelor's degree in architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Subsequently, he received an MBA from his alma mater. He became licensed through the California Architecture Board, the Nevada State Board of Architecture, Interior Design and Residential Design, the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and four other states as a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, he aligns himself with the American Institute of Architects. Outside his work, Mr. Byfield contributes to his community as a docent with the California State Railroad Museum Foundation.

While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Byfield takes the most pride in his first job working for a developer who designed custom homes. Although the firm was bankrupt, he remained with it and reduced the time it took to design a custom home by making the process more efficient and profitable. Due to his efforts, the firm got out of bankruptcy. Other standout moments in his career include working for the California legislature as a budget analyst, leveraging his expertise with an architecture firm specializing in prison projects, and participating in creating the Joint Powers Agency, which became known at the California Construction Authority, to sell revenue bonds from off track satellite wagering facilities at California's fairgrounds to aid all fairs with their capital outlay needs. He is also proud of his work with the State of Utah to direct the division of Facilities Construction and Management where he implemented the Performance Based Procurement program and named employee of the year. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to growing up in a lower-middle-class family, his steadfast work ethic, and many mentors, including Rabbi Alan Bachman, his mother Betty Jean Byfield, Gerry Adair, a former legislator, and Ron Rule, the founding director of Capital Area Development Authority. In the coming years, Mr. Byfield intends to assist architecture and engineering firms focused on product or design but require guidance in establishing themselves as full-fledged businesses.
