Ms. Luarasi Gaumond's journey into health care began immediately after college when she started working as a therapist in a hospital setting. Witnessing their challenges firsthand motivated her to make a difference in their lives, and she grew compassionate for the senior population.
Ms. Luarasi Gaumond's educational background has significantly impacted her professional success. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in health care administration and English language and literature from Tirana University in 1993 and a master's degree in counseling psychology from Cairn University in 1996. Furthering her expertise, Ms. Luarasi Gaumond obtained several professional designations, including as a certified dementia care manager, certified dementia practitioner, certified Alzheimer's disease and dementia care trainer, and ServSafe Certification.

Ms. Luarasi Gaumond is a respected writer in her field. She authored "Albanian-English Medical Dictionary" and "Learning Albanian."
