Before her present role, Ms. Rakshit served as a supplier capacity engineer with Cummins Inc. in 2014 and was promoted to a senior sourcing operations lead in 2016. She was further promoted to the corporate strategy team in 2018 and took a role as a manager for strategy and operations for the express drive fleet with Lyft in 2019. Among her professional accomplishments, she was honored with a Purchasing Award for Core Value Excellence from Cummins Inc. in 2017. She is also proud to have created global partnerships while working at Lyft and was considered one of the leading experts on tire usage for cars in the country due to her extensive experience in the automotive industry.
To prepare for her career, Ms. Rakshit earned a Bachelor of Technology in civil engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Raipur in India in 2012. Following this achievement, she attained a Master of Science in information systems and operations management from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business in 2014. Well-qualified in her field, she is a certified L2 breathwork instructor and facilitator and completed the Forte MBA Launch program through the Forté Foundation.
Within the coming years, Ms. Rakshit intends to make a positive impact on both social and professional aspects of life. Her aim is to establish successful enterprises that celebrate curiosity, creativity, and joy by creating companies that bring happiness to people's lives. As part of this, she plans to start her own tech startup - a Sports Tech platform - in 2024 that connects sports teams to fans and help create authentic connectivity for sports communities across the globe. Her goal with this is to create authentic spaces for diverse fans to find spaces of community and provide them with a space to express themselves freely. Eventually she hopes to start a venture capital fund for women of color who work in technology, media, and sports.
