Mr. Walters's career includes significant roles at Deloitte Consulting as a Program Manager in enterprise performance from 2018 to 2020, where he led various teams and projects focused on improving client enterprise efficiency and financial performance, to include financial strategy and reporting and cost modeling for client senior leadership and strategic decision making. In 2018, he was a Senior Associate in corporate finance at JPMorgan Chase & Co., specializing in financial planning and analysis for the Human Resources line of business and portfolio. Earlier, Mr. Walters was a Senior Associate at PwC from 2016 to 2018 and a Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton between 2015 and 2016. Moreover, Mr. Walters held a significant tenure in the government sector with the U.S. Department of Defense, where he rose from Finance & Accounting in 2008 to a Senior Budget Analyst from 2010 to 2015.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Walters received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Morgan State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus. His pursuit of excellence is further demonstrated through various professional designations, including as a Certified SAFe 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile Inc., Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance, and certification in project management essentials from the Management and Strategy Institute. Furthermore, the U.S. Department of Defense recognized Mr. Walters as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
