    /24-7PressRelease/ - CAPISTRANO BEACH, CA, July 29, 2008 - 2130 Partners, an executive leadership development and education firm that trains leaders to create focus, alignment and collaboration around a sustainable shared vision, today announced that it will provide leadership training to approximately 30 indigenous women leaders of Peru in partnership with The Hunger Project and Chirapaq. The program, The Hunger Project's Productive Communication for Leaders, will take place from Aug. 2-4, 2008 in Lima, Peru.

The Hunger Project is a global, strategic organization committed to the sustainable end of world hunger, and a strategic partner of Chirapaq, a civil association that actively participates in various networks of organized action aimed at achieving the social, cultural and economic development of the people of Peru. Together, they are joining forces with 2130 Partners for this landmark event.

In Africa, Asia and Latin America, The Hunger Project empowers millions of women and men to end their own hunger. The Hunger Project has pioneered low-cost, bottom-up, gender-focused strategies addressing three critical elements for the sustainable end of hunger: social mobilization for self reliant action, empowering women as key agents of change, making local governments work.

The Hunger Project's highest priority is the empowerment of women. Women traditionally bear primary responsibility for family health, education, nutrition and - increasingly - family income.
2130 Partners co-founders Suzanne and Dwight Frindt have been investors in The Hunger Project for nearly 30 years and are deeply rooted in their shared commitment to end world hunger.

The Program
The Hunger Project's Productive Communication for Leaders program is a customized version of Productive Interactions , an educational series designed to develop interpersonal leadership skills. This experiential program is based on highly accessible and easy to understand concepts that are immediately applicable in daily interactions in both personal and professional environments.

2130 Partners bases all of its courses and programs on Vision-Focused Leadership , a methodology that informs everything they do. Vision-Focused Leadership is built around the core belief that the only sustainable business strategies engage the heart and soul, and are simultaneously grounded in sound business practices.

Productive Interactions has been highly successful both as an open enrollment course available to the public, and a customized in-house program. Due to the popularity of the program, 2130 Partners is expanding its presence into the Pacific Northwest and Seattle area market.

"It's an amazing experience to work with people in the Productive Interactions program and see their faces light up as they tell me personal stories of how the program is positively impacting their abilities to work through challenges with family members, co-workers and friends," said program creator, Suzanne Frindt. "It's a privilege to work with people on such a personal level. Being able to adapt the program and take it to Peru to work with local leaders is truly thrilling. We believe the principles of the program are universal and look forward to working with these women to build their leadership skills and communication capacities."

Based on the success of the pilot sessions of the course in Peru, 2130 Partners has agreed to grant The Hunger Project exclusive worldwide license to implement Productive Interactions in its programs around the world.

As a result of the training, the women in Peru will:

* Gain the skills to create a productive team
* Learn to communicate more effectively with others
* Gain confidence in approaching sensitive conversations, or dealing with upset people
* Expand their abilities to actively make changes for improvement

They will also learn key concepts for leadership development including:

* 12 Operating Principles
* Setting a Powerful Foundation
* The Leadership Choice Point
* Generating a Productive Environment

The program will be translated into Spanish and conducted by 2130 Partners' facilitator Montserrat Auso and Country Director of The Hunger Project-Mexico, Lorena Vázquez Ordaz. 2130 co-founders, Suzanne and Dwight Frindt will be on hand to ensure the integrity of the material and participate where needed.
