TypicalDutchStuff.com features a new Selection of Gift Baskets, which are a great introduction to the \"Dutch Cuisine\"

New line of gift baskets which contain typically Dutch products.

/24-7PressRelease/ - June 26, 2005 - Wendy de Laat, owner and founder of TypicalDutchStuff.com introduced a new line of gift baskets to the selection on the site. Various ready-made baskets are available, but custom orders are also welcomed. The baskets make great gifts for anyone who loves typically Dutch products, but are also a perfect introduction to Dutch "cuisine."

"I noticed an increased demand for unique, personalized gifts," says Wendy, "I figured that just gift-wrapping the products nicely was not the only option; customers really want to be able to offer a personal gift, which has been made up of products that they know the recipient will love."

Each gift basket itself makes a great gift, as only baskets of good quality are used. "You can use them for so many different purposes; the possibilities are endless." The baskets are available in a selection of different colors, which the customer can choose from. The ready-made baskets are created according to various themes. "I figured it would be a good idea to have a few theme baskets, such as "Stroopwaffel Heaven" and "Black as Licorice," explains Wendy, "But I also offer "Senseo Coffee" themed baskets, as their coffee pods are so popular at the moment, it would be a shame not to expand the line to these products."

TypicalDutchStuff.com also has a signature basket, which is named after the company; "Typical Dutch Stuff Basket," and is a perfect introduction to typically Dutch products. "That one contains so many good products and loads of calories, but you are allowed to pamper yourself every once in a while," laughs Wendy.

"I am a firm believer in customer service and I know from personal experience how frustrating it can be when an email does not get answered within a certain amount of time, especially when it concerns a custom project." Therefore, she makes a great effort to reply to every email within 48 hours, however, most emails are often answered much sooner. "I like to stay in touch with my customers and offer them super fast service. I know it eases your mind when you receive a quick reply to your question."

If you want a fabulous, personalized gift for yourself, or for friends and family, you have to check out TypicalDutchStuff.com "I absolutely love to do custom baskets, as I want to combine my idea of a perfect gift and the wishes of the customer into it," confesses Wendy, "I just finished a custom gift basket for a company in the mortgage industry, who wanted to present a new client with a typically Dutch gift. I really enjoyed working on this project."

About TypicalDutchStuff.com
TypicalDutchStuff.com is a one-woman owned and home-run business. The company originally began as a hobby, but soon orders kept coming in and the business started to boom.

"I was so excited after my first order; I could not believe that my idea actually appealed to people other than myself."

Recently, the site has undergone a few major changes; the navigation was cleaned up, a script was added so the customer is not redirected to the payment page every time a product is added to the cart. All of these changes are meant to make shopping as easy and safe as possible. "I know people are busy, nobody takes enough time to relax," mentions Wendy, "Judging by my own internet shopping habits, I knew I had to make the site as accessible as possible, so everything has to be only a click away."

Another great feature of TypicalDutchStuff.com is the fact that they have a frequent shopper program. If you sign up for "Typical Dutch Stuff Exclusive," you will receive their monthly newsletter, which contains the latest products, a recipe of the month, as well as a code for a free product. "I like to include little gifts with orders, but sometimes I also want my customers to have an option between various gifts." Therefore, in the summer, each customer has the choice between three free products. "Yes, I want everyone to be satisfied and I know I am always thrilled when I find a little extra goodie in my order," admits Wendy laughingly.
