Agatha E. Carroo, Ph.D., JD, Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

Dr. Carroo published an article entitled "The Psychology of Acculturation and Globalization: Implications for Global Security" in the journal of the Oxford Round Table.



    RALEIGH, NC, October 10, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Agatha E. Carroo, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology of North Carolina Central University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of higher education.

A respected expert in psychology and law, Dr. Carroo has over 27 years of experience in education. Her research interests include acculturation and ethnic identity, cross-racial eyewitness identification and the psychology of globalization. Additionally, she utilizes an eyewitness laboratory to conduct seminars and lectures on eyewitness testimony. Dr. Carroo participated in the Oxford Round Table in 2006 and published an article entitled "The Psychology of Acculturation and Globalization: Implications for Global Security" in the journal of the Oxford Round Table in 2007. She is also the editor of the Psychology-Law Newsletter in the department.

Dr. Carroo received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Cornell University, her JD from the University of Alabama and her Bachelor's Degree in Social Science from Tuskegee University. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Psychology-Law Society and Delta Sigma Theta. She is currently working on a book entitled "Symbols & Race." She intends to venture into consulting and filmmaking in the future.
