Paul Rebillot Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

Founding Director of the North American School of Gestalt and Experiential Teaching.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, October 11, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Paul Rebillot, Founding Director of the North American School of Gestalt and Experiential Teaching, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of educational management.

Mr. Rebillot brings 40 years of professional experience to the North American School of Gestalt and Experiential Teaching, an educational institution specializing in training in the creation of experiential structures, combining western theater art, Gestalt theory and therapeutic practice. In charge of teaching and consulting, he excels in developing ideas and transforming them into experience. Mr. Rebillot has traveled across Europe, completed some 34 tours, guiding experimental workshops and training others in the creation of their own. Mr. Rebillot has imparted his knowledge to groups at Esalen Institute and other growth centers through his ritual structures such as "The Hero's Journey," "The Lover's Journey: A Quest for the Inner Man and Woman," and "Owning the Shadow."

A graduate of the University of Michigan, Mr. Rebillot received his Master's Degree in Education and Theater Arts in 1958. He received a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation for his writing and published his first book, "The Call to Adventure: Bringing the Hero's Journey to Daily Life," in 1993. He implemented a four-level professional training program through his school in Switzerland in 1988, combining Gestalt theory and practice with theater, ritual and myth. The program is now offered in France at the Cabinet de Psychologie Humaniste of Strasbourg and gives practicing therapists an opportunity to learn about experiential workshops and transformational structures. Previously, Mr. Rebillot worked for San Francisco State University, where he taught theater arts, whose strong ties to Gestalt theory he learned later at Esalen. He attributes his success to his creativity and desire to help other people learn. His goals for the future include publishing more books and conducting more training programs.
