With an impressive background of 30 years in the healthcare industry, Ms. Maniscalco has dedicated her life to serving the healthcare needs of the community through disease prevention and control. Her focus is on the prevention and elimination of tuberculosis. As well, she collaborates with community based organization, serves as a consultant for health care practitioners, and teaches infection control to tattoo and body artists.

Ms. Maniscalco serves as a tuberculosis controller for Nassau County in New York and previously as an infection control practitioner. Her goal-oriented nature is the driving force that ensures her continued success.

A graduate of Walden University, Ms. Maniscalco received her Master of Public Health and Master of Public Administration in 2006. She is a member of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control
and Epidemiology, Sigma Theta Tau International. She contributes generously to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and aspires to consult and educate the younger generation on public health.
