East Bay Remodeler Mackey Builders, Inc. Wins 2008 Remmie Awards

    OAKLAND, CA, November 11, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mackey Builders, Inc. has won three prestigious San Francisco Bay Area NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry) REMMIE Awards honoring excellence in remodeling. The Oakland design-build firm received a First Place award in the category of Entire House Remodel Under $250,000; a Second Place award for Residential Kitchen, $60,000-$100,000; and a Merit Award for Bathrooms Under $30,000.

"I had great clients," says Stacey Mackey. "They were all on strict budgets but we were able to work together to make their remodeling dreams come true. I'm honored to have received these awards and grateful that our company's work was recognized."

San Francisco County Chief Building Inspector Laurence Kornfield emceed the annual remodeling awards banquet, presenting thirty-one awards in two divisions: contractor and design professionals. Categories ranged from remodeling an entire house to redesigning kitchens and baths to historic preservation. A panel of judges from around the Bay Area reviewed the over fifty entrants and selected the winners. The awards dinner gala, which was held at the City Club of San Francisco, was attended by hundreds of NARI members, homeowners, clients and industry professionals.
