Beck Geodetix GIS work and Aerial Photography Featured at Citizens\' State of the Bay Conference at the University of Houston-Clear Lake on September 10.

    /24-7PressRelease/ - HOUSTON, TX, August 21, 2005 - The aerial photography of Bryan Carlile, founder of Beck Geodetix, will be featured at the Citizens' State of the Bay Conference on September 10th. The conference aims to take a thorough look at the environmental health of Galveston Bay and Cumulative Impacts on Galveston Island. Mr. Carlile's GIS work will open the conference and provide a visual photojournalistic overview of the bay. "It is a real honor to be able to help in whatever way I can with the conference," Mr. Carlile said from his office. "The Galveston Bay Conservation and Preservation Association (GBCPA) is a fantastic organization, and to be partnered with the likes of the Houston Audubon Society and the Sierra Club on this project has been a great experience."

The Citizens' State of the Bay Conference takes place on September 10th. There is a registration fee of $20 for the conference, and a sack lunch is included in the cost. Those who register in advance will receive a CD containing a detailed profile of Galveston Bay. The exhibit taking place at the conference is free of charge. All are welcome to attend the conference and the exhibit.
