Due to High Demand, Breakthrough Management Group International to Offer It's Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Course in New York

BMGI's Lean Six Sigma Black Belt course helps individuals develop the skills needed to become a competent, data driving practitioner.

DENVER, CO, February 23, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Breakthrough Management Group International (BMGI) today announced that due to high demand in the New York City area and in particular the financial sector, it has added another Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program to its public training calendar. The first class starts April 20, 2009.

Properly trained Black Belts are a critical component of any Lean Six Sigma program. They are change agents and team leaders, project managers and problem solvers. BMGI's Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program has a dual focus on Lean and Six Sigma, providing the critical knowledge needed to lead a variety of project types. The combination of waste-reducing Lean tools with statistically-sound Six Sigma techniques gives the ability to ensure both quick wins and long-term, high-yield success. The course also includes change leadership skills training, giving attendees the added edge to effectively manage, support and motivate teams.

Consisting of five week-long sessions spread over five months; between sessions, attendees apply their training to an actual business project.

Program Highlights:

• Classes feature industry-recognized curriculum and experiential learning exercises to maximize comprehension and retention.
• Throughout training, you receive guidance on an actual business issue and the opportunity to apply your new skills in a supportive learning environment.
• The program is technically challenging to ensure you learn how to implement solutions that produce financial results

Additional course details and a more complete agenda are available on the BMG University web site.

BMGI is authorized by IACET to offer 18 CEUs for this training program. Students will also receive certification after completing a project and passing the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt exam administered by BMGI and recognized by organizations worldwide.

The New York program starts on April 20th, 2009. Additional locations include Denver, CO and London, UK.
