/24-7PressRelease/ -- The "flat and very fast" USATF-certified 5K course results will be recorded and qualify toward state and national rankings. Runners will be divided into age categories with the top three in each group, plus the overall top three female and top three male runners receiving over $1,800 in prizes. Access Hope is a Triangle-area non-profit organization focused on improving housing for local families in need. Attracting as many people as possible, Access Hope has made this a kid-friendly event with a bounce house, balloon animals and food in addition to the 1 Mile Fun Run.
Donations and fundraisers provide the financial support necessary for Access Hope to accomplish home renovations for families that cannot afford construction work. "We wouldn't be able to help families without the community coming together to enjoy this fun fall event," said Charles Cooper, President of Access Hope.
The Morrisville Great Pumpkin Run will be located at the Cedar Fork Community Center at 1050B Town Hall Drive in Morrisville. Registration can be made at any Morrisville Parks and Recreation facility. Additional registration information can be located at http://www.accesshopenc.org
