Kristy Choo, pastry chef and owner of Jin Patisserie along with thirty-two chefs from the best restaurants in Southern California were chosen to participate in the inaugural James Beard Foundation "Chefs & ChampagneSM Los Angeles". "I am honored to be invited to be a part of the Foundation's first major tasting event on the West Coast and excited to work with some of the best chefs in Los Angeles." enthuses Choo. Her lavish delicacy celebrates the season and consists of mascarpone cream layered with peach compote and passion fruit jelly topped with ground almond crumble.

The James Beard Foundation's first major tasting event on the West Coast serves to build awareness for their programs and to raise funds to support their philanthropic work, including the James Beard Foundation Scholarship Program. The exceptional culinary talents of Los Angeles' finest chefs will be featured at the event.
