-- ABT-TRAC announced two new products for the yacht market at the Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show today. eTRAC is a new electric actuator for TRAC active fin stabilizer systems. The eTRAC Electric Stabilizer system provides performance levels that meet or beat other AC stabilizer systems, while offering nearly the same authoritative stabilizing performance, subject to vessel AC power availability, as TRAC hydraulic stabilizer systems. Both eTRAC and TRAC hydraulic utilize an exclusive three-mode system which gives the operator more control choices than any other stabilizer system on the market, offering a winning combination of performance, flexibility and comfort. TRAC engineers designed eTRAC with a robust power transmission system that uses a unique, electric motor powered, rotational drive system in lieu of a hydraulic actuator. This simple rotational drive is the backbone of TRAC's superior electric stabilizer design. The result is a sleek, elegant solution that is simple to install without compromising performance. eTRAC provides excellent stabilization underway and at rest, using STAR - (Stabilization at Rest).
TRACLink is an integrated CANBus control for TRAC stabilizers, thrusters, and auxiliary hydraulic loads. TRACLink control allows multiple touch screen panels and thruster control stations to be connected via simple network cables. Thrusters, stabilizers and auxiliary hydraulics can be controlled from the same touch screen. TRACLink easily interfaces with commonly used yacht JOY STICK control systems. TRAC thrusters can be precisely controlled to maneuver the vessel to the dock and hold it there. Dual windlass control is available from the touch screen.
