/24-7PressRelease/ -- Blane Comeaux, VP of Acadian Monitoring Services says, "This acquisition is just one part of an overall growth strategy at Acadian, extending our network up to the Midwest area, just as with Command Central earlier this year, Infinity has now joined the Acadian network." Comeaux also adds, "We have several more targets on the horizon; we're looking at a couple of East and West Coast locations."
Acadian will keep Infinity's Elk Grove Village central station in full operation, and all staff, including Infinity CEO Tim Newman, and wife Kathy, will accept positions with Acadian. Infinity was started in 2002 and has grown into a strong regional
security monitoring presence. The merger with Acadian, will allow Infinity to value add additional services and technological advances that have been made in the security industry.
Additionally, Acadian recently announced upgrades to AES IntelliNet network, implementation of DMP receiver automation, and completion of its
access control systems database management. "All of these improvements are aimed toward growth," according to Acadian Director of Operations, Kenny Savoie. "The addition of these services allows us to take advantage of emerging technology currently seen in the
security systems arena."
Acadian Monitoring Services alarm centers are UL listed Central Stations located in Lafayette, La and Baton Rouge, La, with a fully redundant, bi-directional backup center in Austin, TX. The center has achieved Five Diamond Certification from CSAA and also holds a UL 2050 certification. Acadian partners with security dealers/integrators across the United States to provide a full portfolio of
security system monitoring, medical, video, access control, Telehealth and
GPS vehicle tracking.
