ST. PETERSBURG, FL, January 03, 2018 /24-7PressRelease/
-- Access Marijuana RX (AMRX) has announced that patients who no longer have a doctor at medical marijuana clinics operated by Tetra Health Care can find care options with Dr. Lora Brown. Dr. Brown, who has nearly 20 years of experience in interventional pain medicine, is the founder of AMRX and one of the first state-approved medical marijuana doctors
"We have seen great success using medical marijuana to help patients manage chronic pain and debilitating symptoms of a number of qualifying conditions," Dr. Brown said. "I am proud to help patients find the proper dose and provide them with instructions on how to achieve safe, effective pain relief with medical cannabis."
Less than six months ago, California-based Tetra Health Care opened medical marijuana clinics in Clearwater, Tampa and Brandon, as well as Winter Park, Florida. According to Bay News 9, only one of these clinics remains open.
In an official statement, the company cited "serious roadblocks" in state law as the reason for the closures, but Dr. Brown told Bay News 9
that she has seen improvements for Florida medical marijuana patients.
"It has become much easier for patients," she said. "When the law was first passed, the red tape was kind of onerous."
Dr. Brown has offers a convenient three-step process - online application, complimentary video consultation and in-person appointment - to facilitate access to medical marijuana for patients seeking holistic, natural pain relief.
The Florida Medical Marijuana Legalization Initiative, often known simply as Amendment 2, passed in 2016. The law gives licensed physicians, like Dr. Brown, the ability to recommend medical cannabis to patients suffering from select diseases and conditions identified by the legislation.
Qualifying conditions explicitly specified by Amendment 2 include AIDS and HIV, cancer, Parkinson's disease, glaucoma, epilepsy and multiple sclerosis, among others.About Access Marijuana RX (AMRX)
