Accomplished Surgeon and Medical Writer Dr. William E. Evans Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who

    CIRCLEVILLE, OH, November 27, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- William E. Evans, MD, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence as a vascular surgeon and published author.

Dr. Evans, who recently retired from his profession as a vascular surgeon, celebrates 45 years of success and personal achievement as a leader in his field. He has also devoted himself as a teacher, researcher and medical writer, and to date, he has published more than 100 articles and book chapters in medical books. Dr. Evans' current endeavors involve writing and publishing novels and nonfiction books. He attributes his lifetime of success to his hard work and perseverance working in the demanding world of vascular medicine.

Dr. Evans completed his residency in vascular surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, earned his doctorate from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1961 and holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Williams College. He belongs to the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, the International Cardiovascular Society and was the former president of the Midwest Vascular Surgical Society. Dr. Evans has also served as a former professor of surgery and former chief of vascular surgery at Ohio State University. In the future, Dr. Evans will continue to write more novels and nonfiction books so he can share his knowledge with the world.
