/24-7PressRelease/ -- After a four year hiatus the Cleveland hip hop group Added FX is ready to once again hit the stage. The group will be joined by American Idol's Charlie Grigsby and O-Town's Trevor Penick for the October 17th show at the Agora Ballroom. Proceeds from this event will benefit Autism Speaks.
Added FX (AFX) is best known for performances at Tower City, Cleveland Cavaliers game, The International Children's Games and Miss Ohio. With hundreds of performances through out Ohio and the upper midwest AFX was one of the most sought after groups in their genre. Added FX released their debut CD "I Ain't Ready" to a packed crowd on July 16th, 2005 at the Pit in Cleveland. During a break from promoting the new album the group ultimatly decided it was time to focus on their personal lives.
Added FX founder Donnie Coliano was married in 2005, the couple currently has two children. The youngest of the group Billy West is also a recent father of a brand new baby girl. West currently works in construction and hopes to open a club in downtown Cleveland. Jay Rogers moved to Columbus to continue his education in Operations Management and plays hockey with the Ohio State Club team. Jeremy Rath relocated to Los Angeles to purse a career in the Entertainment Industry. Rath can be seen on a variety of commercials and TV shows including The Academy Awards, The Grammys, Pepsi, Verizon, Spearmint Gum, Sony, Judge Judy and Joe, Deal or No Deal, and more.
Rogers explains why the group decided to go forward with the upcoming reunion show; "We decided to do a reunion show because our fans were asking us too and we missed doing music together. The reason why we are doing it now is actually because Donnie's grandma just passed away and he was given all her tapes of our shows and what not and as Donnie was watching the tapes call us and said LETS DO IT!" Rath continued "I thought this would never happen. I was in town when we were at Granny's Funeral and we all took a pic together and we were like wow!"
