Adrienne & Co. Presents Jeffersonville Italian Festival 2010 - June 26th
Adrienne and Co. Bakery Cafe is hosting the first annual Italian Festival in wonderful downtown Jeffersonville, IN on June 26th from noon until Dark.

    JEFFERSONVILLE, IN, June 24, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Fuel prices make it difficult to take a trip to Italy or visit "Little Italy" in New York or Boston? Not to worry. The Jeffersonville Italian Festival 2010 will give you the feeling of being at an authentic Italian neighborhood street festival in "Little Italy" without leaving southern Indiana. Featuring authentic Italian food, music, and activities in a family-friendly atmosphere, the Jeffersonville Italian Festival 2010 will allow everyone to be "Italian for a day."

Admission: $2.00 per person; free admission for children 5 and under.
Location: Downtown Jeffersonville on west Court Avenue, between Pearl Street and Spring Street—"In the heart of the Jeffersonville."

_ Featured Performer: Steve Fazzini, from Youngstown, Ohio, performs in the classic lounge style the songs of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, as well as many of the other American standard classics. _ The John Sharp Combo _ The Jeffersonville High School Alumni will be leading the areas' largest ever community singing of "That's Amore"

• Italian folk dancing lessons for adults and children

Supporting Information: The Italians have a long tradition in the area, dating back to the late 1800s when they settled downtown near the old Haymarket location to create Louisville's version of "Little Italy." While the "Little Italy" of Louisville is long gone, the Jeffersonville Italian Festival 2010 is designed to recreate the feel of a traditional Italian Street festival common to Italian neighborhoods by featuring authentic Italian food and pastries prepared by local Italian restaurants and a focus on the family, just like it used to be in the old days back in Little Italy.
• Project Audience: Previous Italian festivals in the Louisville-metro area attracted visitors from 6 counties in southern Indiana, 34 counties in Kentucky, and six states.
