"Metaphorically, love is a mountain--life is a mountain; anything that you are in pursuit of is a mountain." Mozella Perry Ademiluyi

POTOMAC, MD, December 27, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- On January 10, 1964, Mozella Perry Ademiluyi saw Mount Kilimanjaro for the first time. In celebration of her 60th birthday, the author, poet, keynote speaker, attorney, entrepreneur and international mountain hiker will make her second trek up the mountain, ten years after her maiden climb. Joined by her sister and a childhood friend, they will experience the lessons Mozella believes only such an encounter can teach. Mozella reveals, "My mother's travel journal entry stated: "The sight of Mt. Kilimanjaro was thrilling". The 42-mile, 8 day hike will begin on January 4th 2014 at Londorossi Gate and the group will traverse the Lemosho Route. Mozella anticipates reaching the peak on January 10th, the 50th anniversary of her mother's final journal entry.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Mozella's father moved his family to East Africa in 1962 pursuing his vision of living and working on the African continent. Mozella grew up in the mountainous regions of Uganda and Kenya where she discovered her passion for hiking. Inspired by her father's life story and her love of mountain hiking, Mozella founded Love Is A Mountain , bringing her messages to women globally. Mozella will share life lessons and fresh insights from her climb on January 25th when she presents her winter retreat, The Architect and the Tree . She believes that, "Metaphorically, anything that you are in pursuit of is a mountain."

Mozella will return to Africa later in 2014 to work with women in Nigeria and Kenya. Audiences that she touches around the world are inspired to climb higher and reach for their personal potential - their own mountaintops.

Mozella founded Love Is A Mountain in 2009, wanting to positively affect the 21st century world. Women here and overseas attend her retreats and workshops and are learning to use their life stories - ones they are currently living and new ones they create - to transform their lives and that of the global community. In December 2013, she released a creative, interactive journal, Now Is The Time: 52 Steps on Your Mountain.

Mozella graduated from high school at an American school outside of Nairobi, Kenya, and obtained her undergraduate and law degrees from Howard University.
