NEW YORK, NY, July 17, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The US-GREEK Agriculture Company "ANTIPOLIS, LLC" announced today that it is launching a seed round funding campaign using the crowdfunding platform www.crowdfunder.com effective JULY 19, 2016. The company is targeting to raise up to $7,000,000 US Dollar to turn an existing bio-farm, land, the developed hotel and recreation infrastructures into a financially successful reference bio/organic field in Greece that will produce, process and distribute high quality bio/organic products and technologies under the brand name Antipolis, utilizing modern production methods and technologies in farming, energy production and other combined services".

The business of Antipolis EA will focus to:

- Farming in existing and future (leased) open fields (olive trees, hazel trees, quinoa, and aromatic crops).
- Hydroponic farming within a new modern greenhouse (fresh vegetables, fruits and tropical flowers)
- Processing/value adding of its products as well as third party organic/bio products that will cover the increasing needs of nearby big local markets (mainly Athens) and other foreign markets (EU, Arabic/Iran, China, Russia etc.).

- Develop a logistics hub, specially designed for bio/organic products, in cooperation with a dedicated logistics company.

- Provide educational and hotel/recreation services to the community and schools as
part of its promotion program for its products and services.

Dividends: Cumulative dividends at an annual rate of 7.0% of the purchase price per member unit of the common stock.

The Target Market

At present this sector is characterized by:

- The very small size of farms.

- It's very low performance, which is approx. 410EUR/ha (2/100 of EU's mean performance in bio-goods farming).

- The absence of modern bio-farming methods, innovations and marketing policies to promote the excellent quality of the produced goods, which are well recognized and reputed in most European and other International markets because of the Greek tourism.

- The low value added on the produced raw agricultural bio-products.

- The increasing demand on imported bio-fertilizers and other high tech supporting farming Goods.

EU's funding through CAP aid is aprox.640 million euros for the period ending 2020, budgeted towards direct subsidies to bio-agriculture products in Greece in order to recover and to support the reform this important local agricultural sector.

There is only one R&D private institution running to support the development of this sector (Institute for the Promotion of Agricultural Goods-IPAP) and several standards and quality management private companies, whilst rich literature has been produced by local labs on innovations, methods and techniques developed in the 3 Agricultural Universities and several Technical Colleges to support the local production and bio-food processing. A total number of approx. 300 University Degree agriculturist professionals (from the total of 37.000), mainly educated or after-graduate trained in EU and US Universities, are available to provide expertise in bio-farming and bio-food processing.
