ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ, September 18, 2009
/24-7PressRelease/ -- The one and only Alice Cooper is set to unleash his trademark "Shock Rock" at his single performance in the Metropolitan area. For one very special and scary night, the BerganPAC is proud to host Alice Cooper's wild "Theater of Death" on September 23rd. Alice Cooper has uniquely fused together show business and rock n' roll in ways never seen before. Unsurprisingly, his celebrated shock music still causes waves among the audiences well into the new millennium.
As of late, Alice Cooper received his star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003, and was presented with lifetime achievement awards from two of the most important rock music magazines in the world, Classic Rock and Mojo.
His endless gold and platinum albums from around the world, the release of EURAlong Came A SpiderEUR in 2008 and his countless hits including "Love It To Death," "Billion Dollar Babies," "Welcome To My Nightmare," and "Trash", featuring such anthems as "Eighteen," "Elected," "School's Out," and "No More Mr. Nice Guy," as well as the classics "Only Women Bleed" and "Poison", confirm that Alice Cooper is in no rush to slow down.
The release of Cooper's 1994 album, "The Last Temptation," was a multi-media event; it was launched in conjunction with a trilogy of Marvel comics inspired by the album's concept and made in collaboration with noted graphic novel author Neil Gaiman (best-known for his "Sandman" series). The multi-talented Alice Cooper is one of the first rock stars to have his own Marvel comic in the '70's. He also has appeared in movies and television, including, most notably, "Wayne's World," "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare," "Roadie," "John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness," and "Something Wilder," with Gene Wilder.
His recording successes notwithstanding, it is the musical and visual experience from his live performances where Cooper exhibits his flair for music and style. His epic concert tours never cease to amaze with their awe-inspiring multi-level stage sets, elaborate set design, and the all around exhilarating spectacles.
