Traditionally, when a shredding container is purchased, it is fitted with a lock that has a standard key code combination. Currently, there are over a million shredding containers in use with the same lock combination. This means that the majority of shredding bins in service can be easily opened by almost anyone. All Source has addressed this security risk with new proprietary codes.
The exclusive key code solution ensures that only one custom key code will be used per shredding service provider in a geographic area. This will eliminate the possibility of others being able to open shredding bins with a commonly used key.
