Hi Shirley,
My name is Alberta Sequeira and I'm the author of A Healing Heart (ISBN# 1-4241-4458-2). You did a wonderful book review for me. A lot has happened since that time. I had a video made for my book. My big achievement is being nominated as a Semi-Finalist in the 2007 Literary Award by Reader Views out of Austin, TX. The winner will be announced at the end of March.
I've finished my draft for my second book, Please, God, Not Two. It's a memoir of my life living with and losing a husband and daughter from Alcoholism. Richard passed away in 1985 at forty-five-years old and Lori on November 22, 2006 at the young age of thirty-nine. Since this loss, I'm trying to open myself up to speaking to alcoholics about this killer and seeing the effects on the whole family. On November 1, 2007, I did my first private speaking engagement at the Gosnold Rehabilitation Center in Falmouth, MA. Lori had been a patient there twice. I spoke to thirty women and teen for forty-five minutes.
