With more than 25 years of professional experience in teaching Scripture and spiritual writing, Ms. Maish excels in planning curricula and conducting growing faith classes. She became involved in her profession because of her experience in teaching catechism and attributes her success to her desire for learning and love for teaching. Prior to venturing into education, Ms. Maish worked as a registered nurse for 20 years.

Ms. Maish is a Certified Pastoral Minister, Parish RCIA, and retreat facilitator. She also holds a certification in Scripture Teaching and underwent training in Spirituality, Ministry, and Leadership Studies at the University of San Francisco. She earned her RN through Saint Mary's Hospital School of Nursing. Also a freelance writer, Ms. Maish has published her work in St. Anthony Messenger, Living Prayer magazine, Emmanuel magazine, and The People's Companion to the Breviary. She is currently working on her first manuscript.
