CRUDE International needed an evaluation system that would monitor and optimize non productive time (NPT) which is one of the biggest challenges in the oil and gas industry. NPT can take up to 32 percent of the time oil services companies spend drilling for oil, costing an outstanding amount for rework. Amadeus Consulting's evaluation system application was developed to be a rugged touch screen mobile device so it could be used in the oil fields and still be durable and user-friendly. The tool allows companies to customize audits for different production lines, and monitor the assets and inventory and evaluate user competency and support services. The tool uses a ranking system to find shortages, helping to reduce downtime and oil drilling rework.
