Ms. Porter received a JD in 2011 from Duquesne Law School and, at the beginning of 2012, she started her own law practice. With expertise in oil and gas title opinions, she is responsible for reviewing title abstracts and certifying title opinions. She also attends magistrate hearings and works on cases involving real estate, personal injuries, wills, powers of attorney and simple divorces. She effectively handles cases from conception to settlements and/or trials. With ambition and drive, Ms. Porter intends to grow the firm and hire another highly qualified attorney to work with her.

In 2001, Ms. Porter earned a Bachelors of Arts in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh. She is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of West Virginia. She is a member of the Fayette County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Energy & Mineral Law Foundation, Young Professional Women in Energy (YPWE) and Pittsburgh Professional Women. She is a former editor of the Duquesne Law Review and the Duquesne Business Law Journal. She is a board member of the Central Christian Church in Uniontown, PA. In the near future, Ms. Porter intends to establish her law practice and hire another attorney to work with her, along with hiring a secretary and paralegal.
