American sales team member, Tony Chiazza, inspired his coworkers to participate by sharing his enthusiasm for the cause. They raised nearly $2,000.
Chiazza has participated in the CHOC walk for 11 years. In 2005, Chiazza helped organize his fellow American employees as well as employees of the larger Mayflower organization into Team Mayflower.

According to CHOC, during the 19th Annual Children's Hospital of Orange County Walk on Sunday, October 19, 2009, more than 12,000 walkers on 500 teams strolled through the Disneyland resort, Disney's California Adventure Park and Downtown Disney and helped raise $1.5 million for CHOC. CHOC's mission is to protect the health and well-being of children. It provides inpatient, outpatient and emergency care for approximately 210,000 children a year.
