SAN RAFAEL, CA, February 21, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ann Fry is the Keynote Speaker at the first-ever National Baby Boomers Festival, March 27-29, 2009, at the Silver Legacy Hotel, 407 N Virginia, Reno, Nevada. She will speak at 7:30pm on Friday, March 27. The Festival honors 78 million boomers, America's largest demographic group, born between 1946 and 1964.

Ms. Fry refers to herself as the "Head Boomer" because she was born on the first day of the boomer generation, January 1, 1946. At age 60 she sold everything, moved from Austin, Texas to New York City, and started over...alone, without a safety net. Once settled in NYC, she started her baby boomer business, which inspires boomers to find fulfillment and then, with passion, take their talents out into the world to make a difference. She has chronicled this journey in her newest book, Sixty, Sexy, Sassy, and Free: A Real Woman's Story of Reinvention.

Her website, http://www.ItsBoomerTime.com, surveyed baby boomers about what they value most in life. When asked what they rank as most important:
• 59% want good health
• 57% want financial security
• 49% want fun and recreation
• 48% want connection
• 38% want retirement

86% reported they are NOT having enough fun. 88% said that charitable giving is important and want to give back to society. 55% want to start their own business, but 65% have no plan.

Ann Fry is available to the news media to discuss Baby Boomers by calling 646-708-5650. Her website is http://www.annfry.com.

Adults of all ages are welcome. Anyone wishing more information may visit http://www.BabyBoomersFestival.com or call 415-479-3800.

The Festival is presented by Cornerstone Retirement Group. It is produced by Richard Gosse & Associates, in partnership with Liquid Blue Events
