The company will now have the opportunity to come to the rescue of homeowners in areas of the country beyond Maryland and Knoxville, TN, where its original offices are located. In January, Ameri-Dry expanded into several additional states in the Mid-Atlantic region: New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
In addition to standing by its patented, permanently-dry waterproofing solutions, the company has also concentrated on expanding its outreach efforts to customers. Not only does the company engage in aggressive social media outreach that includes active Facebook and Twitter accounts, but also offers a weekly blog post and web article that feature useful basement tips and general advice to homeowners. Additionally, the company launched a preliminary mobile app -- just in time for those who needed help after Hurricane Sandy -- which is now undergoing an overhaul and will be re-launched as a complete app in late February, and is launching a new topical but humorous blog called "Tales from the Basement", this February.
