The demand for used vehicles and the increase in prices has not escaped the attention of the national press, and Anchor Vans has regularly reported similar trends on the commercial vehicle sector. "The used commercial vehicle sector is in an extraordinary situation; last year during the depths of the recession, companies that own fleets of cars sold off stock and didn't replenish their vehicle inventory to pre-recession levels. A year later, we find ourselves with less stock in the used vehicle sector as there are fewer used fleet vehicles in the system. Coupled with the increasing demand caused by the government scrappage scheme, we have a need for an experienced sales person, someone who has worked in the motor trade and can step straight into selling used vans, meeting the high levels of service that our customers rightly expect."
