Mr. Soshnick is a partner with Faegre Baker Daniels LLP, where he concentrates his practice in family law cases involving complex economic issues. Additionally, he represents clients in child custody support proceedings. Mr. Soshnick speaks frequently at state and national family seminars, including at the annual meetings of the American Bar Association and the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Mr. Soshnick graduated from Northwestern University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, and a Master of Arts degree. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Soshnick graduated in 1988 from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, cum laude. He is a member of Order of the Coif. Mr. Soshnick is a Fellow of both the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and International Academy of Family Lawyers. He is past chair of the Indiana State Bar Association Family and Juvenile Law Section, and a Fellow of the Indiana Bar Foundation and American Bar Association. Over the years, the American Journal of Family Law, the Indiana Law Review, the Indiana Lawyer, and various other publications and treatises have featured his work on a number of subjects, including the valuation of businesses and professional practices.
Mr. Soshnick has been recognized many times for his professional endeavors, including achieving a Martindale-Hubbell AV Peer Review rating and being named as one of The Best Lawyers in America in family law continuously since 1999 and in Indiana Super Lawyers continuously since its inception.
