- Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, May 3, 2008, Angel Torres Collazo, President of Collazo Electrical Contractor, will be included as an honored member in the 2008-2009 edition of the Cambridge
Cambridge Who's Who, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry for excellence in construction and inventions services.
Mr. Torres Collazo brings 30 years of professional experience in maintaining electrical systems to Collazo Electrical Contractor, a company that offers construction services that include engineering, electrical, mechanical, civil and structural construction for pharmaceutical plants, waste water processing systems, pumping stations and nuclear plants. As president, he is responsible for staffing, managing inventory and finances, and overseeing engineering, constructional, electrical and technical operations. He currently holds a patent for the Collazo Floating Strainer (US 7, 241, 384 B1), an invention that he considers to be the highlight of his career so far. He attributes his success to his diligence, dedication and desire to make a difference. He looks forward to inventing more products that will improve people's quality of life, and aspires to work for NASA as a consultant inventor.
A certified electrical contractor, Mr. Torres Collazo obtained his Associate's Degree in Electrical Systems, with concentration in Mechanics and Hydraulics, in 1968. He will be affiliated with the United States Environmental Protection Agency and the United States Department of Agriculture.
