He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Health, Public Health and Safety from Ryerson University in 2000. He has attributed his success to working with a number of different people from different backgrounds, his experience, and never making the same mistake twice.

Mr. Maciver is a Licensed Paralegal and a Registered Safety Professional. He is a member of the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals, Employers' Advocacy Council, Canadian Society of Safety Engineers, and Law Society of Upper Canada.

Looking forward, Mr. Maciver hopes to expand his business and run a company of occupational health and safety professionals.
