Ms. Kopinski generated $125m in gifts for the gallery during the first campaign she was involved with

-- Anna Kopinski, Head of Individual Gifts of the National Gallery of Victoria, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in art gifts.
Ms. Kopinski has six years of experience in the industry. Her areas of expertise include relationship development and key responsibilities are serving as the head of individual gifts, and in primarily a fundraising role.
After a career in finance, Ms. Kopinski joined the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) in a fundraising role to generate funds to purchase art. The first campaign she was involved with generated $125m in gifts to the gallery.
The NGV's art acquisition relies upon and reflects the philanthropy of the community, and the gallery receives no government funding for art acquisition. The community is encouraged to give a gift to the NGV, and in doing so, it becomes part of the NGV's development history and invests in the cultural asset for future generations to enjoy.
Ms. Kopinski attributes her success to her vision. She became involved in philanthropy through understanding how we can all be part of and contribute to an active community that nurtures and cares for its people. It was a natural progression from being a Private Banker, where clients had the capacity and interest to be philanthropic. Ms Kopinski looks towards being in an executive role and on boards.
Ms. Kopinski received a bachelor's degree in business and accounting from RMIT University. She is a certified public accountant. She is a member of the Victoria Racing Club and CPA Australia Ltd. She enjoys art house movies.
