Anne M. Smith Named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Music Education

    WINTER GARDEN, FL, May 24, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anne M. Smith, Spiritual Educator of Help for the Healers, was recently named a VIP Member of Worldwide Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

As a Spiritual Educator of Help for the Healers, Ms. Smith specializes in healing through sound. She is involved in developing strategies that bridge holistic and allopathic health care fields in a format that will provide Continuing Education Units for Massage Therapists as well as networking with related disciplines and their accreditation commissions to offer Help for the Healers seminars. Ms. Smith is currently living in South Florida. She teaches private piano and vocal lessons while developing seminars with her twin sister, Maryah Thomas, LMT and Founder of Help for the Healers. Her latest CD, "Separated by Words", a collection of original songs, was released in November 2011. She became involved in Help for the Healers following her 25 year background in Music Education. Once she perceived that she had reached the limits of traditional education, she began researching ways to promote understanding and healing for diverse populations.

Ms. Smith holds a Master's Degree in Curriculum Theory and the Arts from Lesley College, and a Bachelors degree in Music Education from SUNY Potsdam. In addition to her formal education, she teaches under her twin sister's established practice, Help for the Healers, which provides Continuing Education Units on a national level. She is a member of ASCAP and the International Biogenic Society. In years to come, Ms. Smith intends to continue her musical goals by writing, performing, producing, and working with her twin sister, Maryah Thomas, in presenting Help for the Healers Seminars to diverse populations, both nationally and internationally.
