F. Lee Hayslip (Frank Hayslip) was born in Hobart, Oklahoma and has lived in Oklahoma all his life. He's an author, actor, songwriter, and has written several articles for Lost Treasure & Western & Eastern Treasure Magazines. His first book Creature of death, won second place as the best book of 2006 by the Oklahoma City Writers Inc. When asked once to summarize his life he said, "When I was fifteen I rode a freight train to California and hitched-hiked back. Joined the Marine Corp to see the world and spent four years in the Mojave Desert. Been shot at and missed, ran a bar, played in a band, wrote songs, cut a record, owned a TV repair shop for twenty years, and retired from the Oklahoma City School system in 2003. Since then I've appeared in five motion pictures that were filmed in Oklahoma and completed two commercials. I have three grown children, and now live in Warr Acres, Oklahoma with my wife of forty-eight years, Elsie.
