Anthony Beasley Recognized for Excellence in Business Solutions

Mr. Beasley has a highly regarded and respected name in safety, risk, training, and management systems

The year of 2014 has enabled Mr. Beasley to further develop and apply greater business direction capability, whereby he has honed his management, leadership, team interaction and business acumen.

BRENDALE, AUSTRALIA, January 14, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Anthony Beasley, co-Director of ASTRA Group Services Pty., Ltd,, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in his profession.

After two decades of industry experience, Mr. Beasley has developed a diverse expertise in numerous areas of his field. He stands out working in end-to-end solutions, the establishment and implementation of risk, safety, and training management systems, and auditing. He also excels in the development and delivery of innovative, engaging and quality training programs, organizational behavior and well-being services, high-end security, crisis management, and investigative services.

For the past 10 years Mr. Beasley's duties in his role as Director of ASTRA have been wide ranging and diverse. On a daily basis, he is managing and promoting the business, and building and maintaining strong and valued relationships with clients. He is remaining innovative and creative, and delivering services to clients in areas related to risk management systems. Further, he is handling all training management systems, programs and policy development, and providing strategic planning. Finally, he is analyzing finances, budgeting, tax planning and overseeing 50 subcontractor associate specialists, plus staff.

It has been an interesting and diverse career path for Mr. Beasley. From receiving a scholarship to becoming a Lutheran pastor, to duty in the Australian Army Reserves, becoming a Food Chemist, majoring in humanities and being a presenter at numerous Australian and New Zealand mining and training sector conferences. After working in the mining industry for five years, he co-founded a very successful consulting company and registered training organization, ASTRA Group Services; which has had prolific growth and has attained a very credible and respected name in the field of safety, risk, training and management systems around the globe.

Mr. Beasley's personal aim is to continue to grow the company and leave a legacy for his children, though only after they have shown the same level of passion and dedication to success. In the future, Mr. Beasley plans to further expand the organization and its services and products across the globe. He also intends to promote greater innovation in typically stagnant areas of management requirements related to risk, safety, training and well-being. He would love to share the great successes that he has accomplished with prior clients with new ones who have needs in these same or similar areas.

Furthering his education is also in Mr. Beasley's future. He is pursuing a Master's degree through the University of Southern Queensland in Professional Studies to add to a Bachelor's degree, in applied science from The University of Queensland, and Diplomas in training, design and development, in vocational education and training, and in workplace, health and safety. He also holds a Certification III in surface mining operations, and is certified as a RABQSA auditor for OHS, environmental and quality management systems, a WHS officer, and in Kepner-Tregoe problem solving.

Mr. Beasley attributes his success to the support he receives from his family, as well as the wisdom that has been passed down to him from his mentors. He credits his perseverance, dedication to quality, and passion for inspiring others to make lasting impressions to the examples set by peers, business leaders and clients. He has always relished the challenge of not only taking on clients at corporate levels but creating lasting and meaningful relationships with them.

Mr. Beasley became involved in his business (now his chosen profession) after working for large corporations where he exercised his training, risk management, auditing and leadership skills. It was then when he discovered that there was a lack of quality providers in the space of these services, and he believed that he was able to offer something unique, more robust and of better value to the client and end-user. He has a passion for working with individual clients to design new, innovative, credible and efficacious solutions. His mission is to make the mundane exciting and to make a difference where it counts.

The most recent highlight of Mr. Beasley's career has been in operating ASTRA for the past year, through a downturn in the Australian resources sector and general economy and whilst his co-Director was stationed 90 percent of time at a remote client site in Africa. The year of 2014 has enabled Mr. Beasley to further develop and apply greater business direction capability, whereby he has honed his management, leadership, team interaction and business acumen skills, all while supporting the needs of his family. With five children, including one with special needs, Mr. Beasley has learned to juggle his profession and personal lives.

And finding that balance has kept Mr. Beasley at the top of his game professionally. He was named the Queensland Mining Employer of the Year Award for Training Innovation (2003-2004), and gained the National Safety Council of Australia Award for WHS Management (1997) and the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award during the years of 1985 - 1988.

Recently inducted into Worldwide Branding, Mr. Beasley also maintains several industry affiliations. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, and belongs to the Australian Institute of Training and Development, the Pine Rivers Chamber of Commerce, and the Vocational Education and Learning Group. He is a former executive of the Queensland Mining Industry Training Advisory Body, a former director of the Brendale and Samford Community Banks, and a former president of the National Workplace Training Network.

Charitably, Mr. Beasley supports local community banks, and the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia Inc. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, in which they create great memories with friends and family. He also is interested in sports, fishing, and promoting autism awareness, and is in the process of starting a Charity with his family, called "Red Fish, Blue Fish" to enable families with autism to receive much needed relief and respite from as simple as a house cleaner to help out once a month, to a family retreat holiday.

ASTRA Group Solutions is a business solutions company that provides consulting services, including risk management, safety and health management, audit, compliance, training, education, and management systems and processes. It also offers associated services, including organizational behavior, well-being, investigations and provision of professional and technical resource people. ASTRA now has a solely unique partnership arrangement in place with the University of Southern Queensland that will open up opportunities for many people to access and complete higher education in a more simplified manner. The process is reliant on day-to-day work and project activities, rather than just time spent in lecture theaters, tutorials or on-line. The Graduate Certificate, Master and Doctoral programs in the Professional Studies pathway are tailor-made to people busy in their workplace, and they can now gain recognition for their work toward achieving a university qualification.

The Professional Studies qualifications cater for individual specializations, given that the university programs are very much focused on the role and responsibilities of the entrant in the workplace. Therefore, for example, the industry, task or project specialization can be placed in brackets after the post-nominals, such as Grad.Cert.Prof.St. (WHS Management Systems), M.Prof.St. (Mine Management), or D.Prof.St. (Project Finance and Operations Management).
