Anthony L. Peratt, MD Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

Dr. Peratt has 38 years of professional experience and specializes in conducting research on space plasma physics his primary responsibilities include managing electrical engineers and research. Dr. Peratt wrote 'Physics of the Plasma Universe' in 'Plasma Astrophysics and Cosmology' in Kluwer Academic Publishers in 1995, 'Advanced Topics on Plasmas' in Kluwer Academic Publishers in 1997. Prior to joining Los Alamos National Laboratory, Dr. Peratt worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory for seven years, at Max Planck Institute für Plasmaphysik, for two years and as Guest Scientist for Alfv n Laboratory of the Royal Institute of Technology.

Dr. Peratt earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 1971, and his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1967, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University. In addition, he completed training programs at the University of California, Los Angeles in 1964. He has received several awards that include Performance Awards from the United States Department of Energy in 1987 and 1999, The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. Distinguished Lecturer Award in 1993, and The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. Fellow in 1999.
