Anti-Snoring Nasal Drops, Asonor, Considered the Best Solution as Research Finds Snoring Directly Connected to Cancer

As per the study, finding a solution to heavy snoring is imminent to stop the risk of cancer and Asonor agrees to the research results.

HORSHOLM, DENMARK, July 22, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- A recent study at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health that took into account 1500 people for the past 22 years, it was found that people that snore heavily are at 4.8% higher risk of developing cancerous tumors than non-snorers. It was found that snoring leads to oxygen starvation which in turn promotes the growth of the tumor cells, leading to cancer. All the participants' age, sex, weight and smoking habits were considered during the study.

According to the doctors conducting the study, the risk of cancer was corroborated in the laboratory tests done on mice. It showed that there was heightened growth of cancerous cells when the mice underwent oxygen starvation. Dr. Javier Nieto who led the research project was of the view that human and animal tests have corroborated the fact that low oxygen level in the body promotes cancer cells, mostly due to snoring and sleep apnea.

Dr. Nieto said that now it has been proven that Sleep-Disordered Breathing, which leads to oxygen deprivation, is closely connected with cancer growth which in turn can help patients undergoing cancer treatment to simultaneously take anti-snoring remedies to cure snoring. But the unique element that emerged was that cancer risk was higher in lean people who snored than the obese snorers.

The current results of the sleep disordered breathing (SDB) and snoring study were presented at the International Seminar of the American Thoracic Society and have been published and included in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.

Representative of Scandinavia-based TannerMedico manufacturer of snoring relief, Asonor said: "The breakthrough research has aptly pointed out that snoring has to be curbed for better health and with cancer being one of the risks of sleep apnea and snoring, it is time to use effective snoring remedies."
