Antoinette works most regularly with Bill Easely, a brilliant and versatile reed player, who performs equally forcefully on alto, tenor, and baritone saxes as well as flute, piccolo, and clarinet.

Born and raised in Newark, Antoinette Montague released her first CD "Pretty Blues" in 2006, but she has had many invaluable musical experiences. She worked in gospel and R&B ensembles after college, serves as the vice president of the International Women in Jazz, and considers Carrie Smith, Etta Jones, Della Griffin and Myrna Lake to be her mentors.

Jazzmobile

Jazzmobile, by its very nature, is an outreach and audience development program. Firstly, Jazzmobile goes to non-standard venues-the peoples neighborhoods; streets, parks, schools, and playgrounds, which comprise 90% of its efforts. While Jazzmobile is centrally located in Harlem, USA, it has grown and progressed through programming city wide, state wide, area and region wide, and has presented famous jazz artists in jazz programs in every major market from Boston, Massachusetts to New Orleans, Louisiana.

Jazzmobile audiences continue to grow and expand world wide each year. Jazzmobile has played a major role in the renaissance of Jazz. The organization has been involved in providing the impetus for Jazz programs and in particular arts in education. Jazzmobile has influenced the vitality of the music beyond its New York base, serving as a paradigm of similar organizations and institutions across the country and throughout the world.

The Pine Grill Jazz Reunion

The Pine Grill Jazz Reunion is among the premiere summer music events in the Buffalo/Niagara region. Held the first two Sundays in August in Martin Luther King Jr. Park. The two free concerts celebrate diversity through tribute to its truest American form -- the legacy of jazz -- and the city's role in the evolution of the genre.

Today with a long list of national and local alumni, The Pine Grill Jazz Reunion is a much anticipated summer in Buffalo tradition. Each year, over the two weekends, the concerts draw together close to 10,000 Buffalonians past and present and new visitors to bring alive old memories and make new ones.
