The survey outlines that more than two-thirds of American consumers said they're willing to spend 14% more on average with a company that delivers excellent service. The survey also revealed that 46% of respondents always tell others when they've had good service interactions and 42% said that a recommendation from friends or family is more likely to make them do business with a new brand. A.R. Discovery points out that these results mean good customer service is often guaranteeing firms free publicity.

The survey also backs up this argument by proving that an even larger 60% of consumers are likely to share their bad experiences with others and they tell nearly three times as many people as those who enjoyed their experience. 58% of consumers are willing to give a brand a second chance after a bad experience but 37% will switch to another brand immediately and this could be extremely damaging for a brand.
