As an artist and advocate for the arts, Ms. Keller has spent her career creating and exhibiting beautiful works. In past years, she served on the planning board of the National Book Makers Conference and has been a panelist on the grant review committee for the Alabama State Council on the Arts. Further she's served as a judge for the high school art exhibition for the Sixth Congregational District Arts Caucus and a consultant for the Birmingham Museum of Art. Ms. Keller began laying the foundation of what would be a very successful career by studying at Huntingdon College in 1956 and the University of Guam in 1974. She later graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor of Arts.
One notable accomplishment for Ms. Keller happens to be the number of art shows where her art has been showcased. These include exhibits at locations, such as the Meridian Museum of Art, Vanderbilt University, the Birmingham Museum of Art, Birmingham-Southern College, the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts, the Wiregrass Museum of Art, the Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts, Kentuck Art Center & Festival, the Church of the Nativity, the Huntsville Museum of Art, Jemison - Carnegie Heritage Hall Museum and Masur Museum of Art. She has also taken special commissions for the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and Children's Aid Society, and her work was featured in Wild Wheels, Smithsonian magazine, the Japan Esquire and Spiegel in Germany. Furthermore, she was the illustrator for "Haiku: The Travelers of Eternity."
Ms. Keller was included in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, Who's Who in the World and Who's Who of American Women, and she was also named a fellow of Escape to Create. In addition, due to her dedication to her profession, she is a member of numerous relevant organizations, including NLAPW, the Watercolor Society of Alabama, the Birmingham Art Association, the Montgomery Art Guild, Space One Eleven, the Bluff Park Art Association and the Japan America Society of Alabama. She has also been a member of the Sister City Japan Committee, project director of Sister City Friendship, and on the board of directors of the Birmingham Sister Cities Commission.
